The Reproductive Choices Lab is a research team of scholars, students, and community partners who conduct participatory, justice-oriented projects. We aim to generate evidence that supports people to make informed reproductive choices across the lifespan, with focus on qualitative health services and implementation science research on abortion and contraception care in restrictive environments.

Our lab is led by Dr. Sarah Munro across multiple sites in the Pacific Northwest. We are based at the University of Washington School of Public Health, Department of Health Systems and Population Health, and have infrastructure support from the Women’s Health Research Institute and University of British Columbia Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. We collaborate closely with several research networks committed to advancing reproductive rights and access, including the Collective for Reproductive Rights and Health and Contraception and Abortion Research Team (CART).
