Emmalie Griswold (she/her)

My name is Emmalie Griswold, current Masters of Public Health Student at the University of Washington, living and studying on the traditional lands of the Suquamish, Duwamish, and Muckleshoot nations. My degree is focused on healthcare policy and centered around maternal and reproductive healthcare.

Prior to pursuing an MPH, I was working as a medical assistant and pregnancy options counsellor at Planned Parenthood during the overturning of Roe v. Wade and the subsequent loss of abortion access for millions across the United States. This event spurred me to pursue my MPH and dedicate my career to abortion access research and activism.

In my free time, I love to mountain bike and ski, and am a fierce advocate for women+ in adventure sports.
